From the beginning, the band has weaved Grateful Dead songs into its live sets of funk classics and original tunes. In the summer of 2011, the group embarked on D’eadphibians. A labor of love, this album pays homage to a body of work that has had a profound influence on the band’s music and their lives. D’eadphibians breathes new, fresh life into classic material and captures the live-music dynamic that the Dead—and D’Amphibians—have always embraced.
