Fiver Brown & The Good Sinners are one of the Bay Area's hottest upcoming bands. They
originally formed as a constantly evolving collaboration between Singer/Songwriter Fiver Brown
(Time’s Free Revival/Fiver Brown Band) and Guitarist/Producer Don Zimmer (the Marin County
bands Jelly and Folly).
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Fiver Brown brings a unique combination of soul and
songwriting to the band’s hometown of Sausalito. Don Zimmer brings the jam, with swirling leads
and air-strike precise rhythms. Together with partners in crime Dave Zuckerman on guitar, Scott
Lipsitz on bass, and Sean Nelson on drums, The Good Sinners create a sonic mix of original yet
timeless tunes, dripping with unlimited potential.
The foot stompin’ music is a swampy stew of soul and blues, flavored with smoke and whisky, and
stirred with an uncommon mix of Southern gothic and Northern California vibe. You could call it
Soulful Southern Americana, or even Country Soul, and it will separate your butt from the seat and
get it a-shakin’. Fiver’s heartfelt lyrics and deep blues voice, combined with jamming twin lead guitars
and an incendiary rhythm section, guarantee that you are in for a sweaty, rocking good show.
